BTW, I got my new football tickets today, and I'm back on the West side. Take it as a good omen for the season or not, but in my 3 seasons of watching games from the East (I did not attend any home games in '07,) I am 0-4. If the change in perspective doesn't help, I can only look to my wife, whose record in Neyland is abysmal (1-9?) The first game she ever saw in Knoxville was the Jabar Gaffney game, an omen I chose to ignore at the time. I am beginning to think differently. She may only get to come with me to away or neutral games, where the Vols have fared much better with her in the stands.

Of course, my influence over the outcome might not be quite as strong as I'd like to believe, but it is better to err on the side of caution.

Right now it is looking like I will definitely be in town for the WKY game. Ironically, the wife and kids will probably be in BG that weekend.

If you are in on Friday night, we need to get together at the DTG&B. There is a strong possibility that I could be available for 18 on Friday morning/afternoon if anyone is up for it.

Actually, I just mailed my tickets to my cousin; I won't be able to test the new seats until UCLA, and we'll probably drive down for that one and back that night. I am planning on staying the weekend for either the Auburn or Georgia game, so maybe we could work something out for then.
