Man you are OLD! You were in 2nd grade when the 3 stooges were new?![]()
Excellent Lex, I've "rethunk" my position on Fulmer however. I think the majority of us on this board are convinced that the SECE winner will have 2 losses. As wacky as this season will turn out to be, I do not think Fulmer will be gone even if he has 3 SEC losses.
My reasoning is that Hamilton(and whoever the "powers that be" are in the Vol Mafia) will look at the overall season and they may find Myer, Richt, Spurrier or whoever else with the same SEC record as Fulmer, then it's a much harder decision. Couple that with what could happen if Cal winds up in NC game, and the gators do win out and wind up top 5. Not to mention the many unknown vouchers that Fulmer may be able to call in if needed for his survival. Of course, all this reasoning goes in the toilet if the Vols tank the season. Just a thought.
I live to make you smile Beef.
Nothing would surprise me at this point, but I still have a different take on the situation. The buyout numbers flying around, the press is in a relentless mood, a majority of the fans are upset, and CPF looks like he is getting tired. If the Vols lose this week, I think it will actually get worse.
We haven't seen this kind of heat around the program for a long time, and I am completely convinced that there is all kind of talk going on behind closed doors. It will take a win over Georgia, and some very impressive victories to quiet the winds.
You can bet it would get worse if we lose.I live to make you smile Beef.
