Yes three more 3*. We are 3* U. If we sign 7 more players, I’m guessing 2 4* & 5 3*. Top 15 class. The gap between Bama, GA, FL, A&M & LSU doesn’t narrow. We’ll be a perpetual 7-5 to 9-3 team. Compete with KY every year for third in East. Until Skyre starts giving out some serious cash, $8m for a 5* QB, $6m for all world edge, $5m for lock down corners & $4m for OL, what we have now is as good as it’s going to get. I want recruits to come here for the great TN experience. But the recruits that want that are not going to win championships.
You should heed your own advice, don't feed the troll. So many inaccuracies in the his comment just not worth it.Just so you understand we have a 25-30 million dollar budget each year to offer NIL opportunities to players. If you pay a quarter 8 million and an OT 4 million over four years that is a huge chunk of your four year recruiting budget or if you want to count it towards the one year total that almost half your nil dollars in two players. Over the course of four years we would have to generally bring in around 100 players or 25 per class (this year the number will be higher imo though), you have to be able to offer those guys as well. Players on the current will get offers as well to transfer out via portal, you have to also be able to make offers to those players as well.
It’s not about landing the best class one year, it’s about consistently landing the best class we can via portal and incoming high school players. The numbers you’re talking would piss away our entire budget in one class for the next four years.
I should I really just wanted to make that post so everyone could understand you can’t just blow your entire budget in one year. Miami is getting a lot of help from one prominent booster throwing money around, it’s not sustainable. Tennessee has one of the best NIL programs around but they have to be smart with their money. You should heed your own advice, don't feed the troll.
