Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4/5 XB1/XBSX/S PC)

Ended up with this game via a free code from Nvidia and got to say that I am very surprised. I dont think I would have played this unless it were free, the Avengers game really burned me and this looked too close to that one for me to buy. I am only about 2 hours in, but I really dig the combat, the level design, and the visuals. The only thing that I would have liked was either an option to play as one of the characters instead of Quill or coop where your friends could play those roles. Even with that said, I think they way the did this was good enough where it made the combat feel fresh. I think its a shorter game, but something you might want to keep an eye on.

I liked Spider Man, but got burnt out on the repetitive combat. I figured this is more of the same.

Waiting on a sale but interested in checking it out. Hopefully it’s a $30 Black Friday game

Evidently this is the surprise game of the year. I had written this off honestly because of how mediocre The Avengers was. Now I'll probably look for a Black Friday sale for this and play it over the holidays.

Did you play Miles Morales? I loved the combat so much more, mainly because of the abilities he has that Peter Parker doesn't.

That is the only character to directly play as. The rest you control indirectly.
