GT best team in Georgia

GT is dependen on one thing...Reggie Ball. IF he doesn't make mistakes, they are very good. They get in to trouble when he gets careless with the football.

And Calvin Johnson is really good.

That victory over VaTech was no fluke. GT is a solid, and solidly coached, team.

Still say I'd love to see the UT/Yellow Jackets rivalry renewed.
That was a quality series back in the day...

Agree about the VT game...they dominated that game offensively, and took the pressure off their defense.

and as for the coaching...i think a lot of people were questioning that going in to the season...i for one never thought GT was going to be as good as they've shown this year.

Georgia Tech is probably the best team in the ACC, forget the state of Georgia.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Not trying to degrade UGA, but with that defense GT can play with just about anybody.

You're the one that has to live in the state so I'll see and hear more about both teams. So, you are probably right.:hi:

Georgia Tech will probably win the ACC. They have to play Clemson in the regular season and I think they will lose that game but come back and defeat them in the ACC championship game.

Possibily... but I'd hate to have to put any faith in Clemson.

Or Georgia Tech for that matter. Oye. BOOO ACC!
true...botht teams have a history of not finishing...but with VT, FSU and Miami all down this year, and seeing as how Clemson has already beaten FSU and GT has already beaten VT...those two teams are on a collision course for the ACC championship.

which would be cool. but neither team will be in the top ten, unless one of them wins out.

both will lose a game they aren't supposed to before the season is out...

I believe the GT-UGA game will be outstanding this year. I'd put my money on Tech right now.

Tech will be handing UGA their 4th loss of the season

UT, Florida and Auburn being the other three

Saying Tech is better then UGA is like saying MTSU is better then UT

It is just full of crap.

UGA has owned Tech for awhile now and currently Tech is on probation for their short little streak in the late 90's.

Until Tech actually beats UGA, they are their bitch

Tech is better this year. Chan Gailey stopped calling the plays, so now they actually throw to Calvin Johnson, and what-do-ya-know its working. They should have beat Norte Dame if the refs werent protecting the Golden Boy that was pre-ordained hesiman winner.

But to comment on what someone else said...I go to 3-4 tech games a year because my best friend has an extra season ticket. Its all dependent on Reggie Ball. He has a weak arm and tries to force the ball at times...simply an awful combination. If he limits his mistakes, theyre a pretty good team.

I dont think they would be better then fifth in the SEC, though.

Gailey will take over as he usually does after big wins.

Throwing a lot to CJ has happened several times the last few years.

They will resort back

I would bet my money on the Dawgs. Georgia may not be scoring alot of points but they haven't allowed many either. Georgia Tech has a good team but their Offense doesn't have the talent to matchup with Georgia's defense ,especially up front. On the other hand Georgia's offense would struggle agaist Tech. But I still like the Dawgs.

I also think this year is going to pay off for Georgia down the road. Those young quarterbacks have talent. They just need some confidence and that will come with playing time.

Tech was vastly overmatched last year and had a chance at the end. I think they return to the days of Fridge and Goose Godsey/Joe Hamilton. I think they beat UGA four in a row or so over that stretch from about '97-2001.

Tech will give GA all they want this Thanksgiving.
