I don't think he's a fit anywhere right now, to be honest. The game has passed him by, he's not a larger than life personality a la Deion and recruits weren't even born when when he coached his last game in Tampa. Let's not forget that Jon didn't exactly set the world on fire when he helmed the Raiders for the second time.

We see how poorly Belichick meshed at UNC and he has six rings (including several rather recent ones), does Jon's Barstool stint really render him deserving of a college gig?

He'd "fit" best at Florida given the access to resources (players), but they'd be nuts to cast a line on him.

Yeah, I think he’d be terrible. I think he’ll end up like Belichick and Herm Edwards if he does this. He was terrible in his return to the Raiders and honestly was just mediocre after his Super Bowl in the first place. He’s one of the most overrated NFL coaches.

So hopefully he goes to Kentucky or Florida lol

overrated NFL coaches are the ones that make the best college coaches (Saban, Spurrier)

Hell if a 65 year old can coach Indiana football into the playoffs then Chucky can make it a Florida.
You mean the two guys who spent most of their coaching career in Cfb?

Gruden hasn’t coached Cfb since 1991. Much like Belichick who hadn’t coached cfb since the 80s. I don’t think he’s comparable whatsoever to Saban and Spurrier, in that regard.

He needs to stay on TV where he can act like a genius and get all the attention he craves with zero pressure.

He would likely be a disaster anywhere in college.
yeah but he needs to get a fat SEC contract to make up for all the money he lost losing his job with the Raiders and suing the NFL.

step 1 get a FAT guaranteed SEC contract based on name recognition.

step 2 that's it, just get a fat guaranteed contract.

Auburn is getting rid of washed up guy with baggage

Arkansas would just keep their washed up guy with baggage.

So, it's going to be Kentucky or Florida. Which place is better for a washed up racist with baggage?

Auburn but I don’t think it comes open. UK would be next then UF
Agree AU is best fit, because: (1) AU has demonstrated that they are willing to hire a "controversial" coach with baggage, and (2) in recent years, AU has made even more bad decisions in hiring coaches than UT, making Gruden a more viable candidate for the AU job than UF or ARK and (3) ARK has their man already. That deal was done when Petrino was hired as OC.
