Yeah and if someone offered Saban another 500,000 he would be leaving the Bammers in the dust! Hahahahahaha

He'll probably get a hefty raise from where his salary is this year. Bama has this guy for awhile. They are a lot of coaches the caliber of saban, i suggest we get to looking for him. Saban's not leaving anytime soon and he will have a leg up on our new coach already. Doesn't paint a rosey picture.

In the same post, he mentions UT's indiscretions. Guess he doesn't realize Bama has already won their 13th NC in '08, the Fulmer Cup.

The only advantage I can see for Alabama right now is that they have CNS later in his career. To leave a lasting legacy, he just may finish his career there.

Of course, this is based on my belief that he (like any coach) wants to be remembered as one of the great coaches and not just the guy that jumped around alot.

But, who really knows. Money talks and legacy has never bought me a beer.

The guy in that thread that suggested we get the Coach from the Waterboy might be onto something.

If Mister Coach Klein can recruit like he did to get Bobby Boucher everyone's worries of needing "A coach that can recruit" is put to rest.

"What Momma don't know won't hurt her"

Also for everyone who wants a Special Teams coach: Farmer Fran will be a breath of fresh air.

I can see this happening.
