Speed? Are you kidding me. You need to read up on bears. Strength? They could rip the gorillas head off with one swipe. Agility is unnecessary here.

Gorilla's also have the stronger bite.

So gorillas are faster, stronger, smarter, and have a stronger bite.

Mountain lions are the true representatives of North America... Unless you want to drag polar bears into this. But polar bears don't have any strength of schedule.

Ooh, a polar bear killed a marine mammal that wriggles around on it's belly. Super tough, bro.

Stronger bite psi? Gorilla.

Strength? Gorilla.

Undefeated within their ecosystem? Gorilla.

The grizzly bear is the more ferocious animal. It's size alone would intimidate the more intelligent gorilla. Blind blood lust wins here. Can't believe you're thinking the alternative is possible.
