Say they both don't resign and come back. Where would we go from there. Who could we sign in Free Agency to replace them? Or Draft at that.

I really don't think the Grizz need another down low player. Unless they are already preparing because they KNOW Z-Bo is gonna leave. All speculation of course but I don't see him resigning with us.

I would feel bad if he ends up signing with the Pacers for your sake. PF is still their biggest need, he grew up about an hour away from Indianapolis and the Pacers have 28 million dollars worth of expiring contracts.

I have a feeling the Pacers may be one of the teams making a run at him.

Ouch. A Pacers and Astros fan. Are you also into self mutilation? :)

It's been pretty brutal. Astros and UT football are coming off seasons with first year coaches. Titans and Pacers recently fired their coaches. UT basketball has struggled this season.

It sucks but it is what it is. Will just be that much cooler if any of them ever win anything. Unfortunately, UT football is the only one that has won a championship of the bunch so it might require hell freezing over.

Well I'm a Predators and Grizzlies(Knicks as well because TN didn't have team) fan......and they haven't won a title yet either.....heck, neither has won a playoff series yet

I think the Grizz will keep Randolph and Gasol in the end. Gasol is restricted so the Grizz control their destiny on whether to keep him or not. He won't be as costly as Zbo ,but he still won't come cheap. Plus, it'll be hard to find a center that can do the things that Gasol does. Good centers are a rarity these days.

Randolph I think will remain a Grizzly. It's really going to come down to what Randolph wants. In my opinion, I think the Grizz FO will do everything in its power to retain him. They know that if they lose him, it would kill the franchise, lose tons of support and kill the team's momentum.

In Randolph's mind, I hope he's thinking this:

"I'm playing the best ball of my career right now. This team is on the rise and all the starters will be back if I resign (assuming Gasol is back). No city has embraced and welcomed me nearly as much as the Memphis community ,and no franchise has appreciated my talents more than the Memphis Grizzlies. Why leave a good situation?"

I don't know exactly what happens in ZBo's mind, but I can guarantee it's not that.

Not to say he won't stay in Memphis.

I bet this is what's on ZBo's mind all the time.

I think Zach is proud of how the Griz have turned the team around and he's a huge reason why. If Heisley doesn't realize that and do what it takes to keep him in Memphis he's a knucklehead.

Well after what the Commercial Appeal reported last week, Zbo is thismuch closer to resigning with Memphis. Once the Grizz get him resigned, they need to make up their minds on Mayo, Arthur, Battier, and Gasol. I think Mayo will be the one let go and they'll resign Arthur, Battier, and Gasol. Mayo has basically become expendable now.
