I'm thinking the Grizzlies have a 1 in 4 chance of winning it all. The other three teams being Oklahoma, San An, and Miami.

Reasons we may just win it all:

Memphis took Oklahoma to a game 7 last year without our best player Rudy Gay.

Beat San An last year in the first round, because they are too old inside to handle the Grizz.

Miami is too soft inside to handle Randolph and Gasol.

NBA has a forum, just sayin'

Why's it not listed on the forum drop down list? I see the following options: Boards, Vols Football, Vols Basketball, Vols Recruiting, Around the NCAA, Lady Vols, Vols Baseball, TN High School, Vols Tickets, Vols Video, Sports, Off Topic, and New Vols.

So I thought sports worked best.

Best record in the league while he was out, right? 0%?

They play in the east, so they will make it out of the first round. But they have no chance at winning it all. Rich Hamilton's going to wear down as the playoffs progress, and Rose can't stay healthy.

I give the Grizzlies a 40% chance of making it to the WCF, a 20% chance of winning the conference finals, and a 10% chance of winning it all.

Chicago-Rose is out for the season. No way they win it.

San An- Duncan was too old to get the job done last year in the first round. No way they win it.

Lakers- Without Meta World Peace, the first round is going to be rough. They don't win.

Oklahoma City- Barely beat Memphis is a game 7 last year. This year, Gay is back.

Miami- Front court play is a huge issue. No one inside plays defense there.

okay now that rose is gone for good, I'd reduce their chances to 10%. I will not give you anywhere close to zero. That's just speaking nonsense.

You think they can beat Miami or anyone in the west over 7 games without Rose?

LAC and OKC (assuming we play them) will be our toughest games in the West. I don't see us getting past OKC but I do see us taking it to the Clippers in 5.

So you're telling me there's a chance :)

We took OKC to a game 7 without Gay last season. I think we could take them this year.
