I don't have any good recipes for grilling potatoes.

I've seen the foil wrap/potato chunk approach.

Last night, I sliced a potato into 3/4 inch sections, brushed them with olive oil and garlic cloves and grilled them for about 20 minutes - came out pretty good but took longer than I had planned.

How does the VN cook their taters on the grill?

foil bag, take ranch dressing seasoning (they sell it in packets by Hidden Valley) and mix with potato chunks then put them in the foil and grill. WONDERFUL!!

Foil with butter or olive oil and sea salt, upper grill rack, turn every 10-15 minutes.

Also, I make potato wedges on my tailgate grill by quartering, marinating in oil and Tony Chacherre's, and grilling on the non-stick griddle. Always a hit.

Sweet potatos. Add some butter, sugar and cinnamon. OUTSTANDING. And without the latter ingredients, they are supposedly healtier than a regular potato.

Heat grill and add hickory chips, brush potatoes with olive oil and rosemary, close grill vent, put aluminum foil over grill, close grill and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until outside is crisp.

I love sweet potatoes though I feel like I only eat them at Thanksgiving.
