That's why fans should not dish out the "hype"....when they haven't actually "seen" what they're hyping!

I am waiting to see it! What kind of worried me about the D is how many times VT ran the ball for 7-8 yards on first down.
May not be as much as think because I didn't keep count but it seemed like there was several,

I think Shy Tuttle has stepped up. He was a beast in the VT game.

Fortunately we have a number good players that play well together.They will get better and learn to play faster as they learn and grow in CBS' system. Our run'D' needs to be much better on 1ST and 2ND downs.

He isnt showing up in the stat category, but he has been very disruptive and always near the ball carrier. Just hasnt made the tackles himself

After a few more games, the defensive schema will slow down for him and he will be a great DT/DE. For the most part we are using him as a DT which isn't his natural position either.

Special shout out to Dave Hooker for adding extra motivation to Kongbo!

Well to be fair, Kongbo played one year in high school and one year in juco. I can't imagine how fast everything must be coming at him right now. Thank goodness we played VTech so he at least has an idea of how SEC football will be (mostly referring to VTech's Bud Foster and his defense).

Good grief. No wonder we have some dumb fans. If idiots were flying insects, our sportswriters would make great flood lights.

Anyone who looked at Kongbo's resume with half a brain would see his potential but also his inexperience. So, to write this article is just another mindless article to earn a paycheck. Hooker must be hanging out with Adams too much.

Yea, running wild against JUCO teams doesn't mean you'll come into Div 1 and continue to dominate...Kongbo looks a bit small next to the other guys out there...definitely looks small at DT...if here was better than Barnett or Lewis or Vereen, he'd be playing ahead of them...and now that Phillips is getting healthy, he's gonna be behind another player...
