I think orta was. Had a pick 6 then a career ending injury right? I think he was the first blue shirt in history. I could be wrong about all of this though.

They don't blue shirt 4 star players.
If you remember .. Bryce Thompson just showed up on campus before Fall camp started. He was committed to USCjr but did not sign with them on NSD. TN had already used all their 2018 spots so BT had to be a Blue Shirt and counted on the 2019 class.. So .. yes they DO use them on 4* players in this situation .. or he could not have gone on scholarship at UT.

They do. Blueshirt really isn't that big a deal. Grayshirt is moreso.

Anthony Harris was a stud recruit and was on track to BS. It was the only way we would go with him and wait it out. Good thing we did too and not sign him early.

My favorite blueshirt would be Jashon Robertson. 4 year starter.

Simonton also hinted at Albright not really signing (LAVol as well) and being a BS. Would sort of make sense, if Williamson isn't a part of the class. Believe we need at least 1 BS to max out the 25. Albright would obviously be my new favorite.
