He summed up what most of us have been saying all year. I'm glad this season is over.

Boy, he hit the nail on the head perfect. That hurt to read, but he was 100% on.

Wow, pretty interesting read.

And personally now I wonder if this was the reason that Pearl was saying the team would struggle back in September. Not because they were young, but maybe because he too knew they weren't hungry like past teams.

Nailed it... but it has been easy to see all year, and this is why everyone is frustrated with this group. Its a cardinal sin in sports not to play hard.

That's about right, I don't blame bruce pearl. We've seen that he can coach, when his players are willing to play his way.

He places all the blame on the players, and not on Pearl. These guys have a lot of growing up to do this season. I don't think the immaturity this year can be placed directly on Pearl's shoulders.

It'll be interesting to see if this season serves as a wake up call for the young guys. Also, I wonder what effect it will have on Wayne and Tyler's decision?

I really like Bruce Pearl... I think he's a good fit here and was what Tennessee needed, but there have been glaring problems with this team that haven't gotten fixed since the start of the season. The young team excuse really doesn't get it any more.

Just want to say, I'm not one of those people calling for his head. Just saying this wasn't a very good coaching job this year.

So if you read between the lines, the argument is that Tennessee is paying John Calipari-type money to a guy who can't win with good players. Great.

(I hate to keep harping on Pearl's money, but it's a fact -- I don't care how nouveau riche you are, if you're paying $75 for a steak dinner, you don't expect to be getting a Western Sizzlin meal anymore.)
