Hey Vol fans.

Im new to ya'lls website. I must say that ya'll have some of the best fans in the country.
Im an Ark alum nowadays after graduating recently.
I love SEC sports in general, especially football and basketball.
I can say that Tenn would be our closest rivalry, since 3 of my cousins are alums at UT.

Im looking forward to saturdays game. I would imagine it will be similar to the SC/AR game, Hogs rushing attack vs Volunteers passing game. This game will go 4 quarters and the team with the fewest mistakes will win.
Both teams need a win to keep the fans happy.

Also, its opening day of deer-gun season in AR, which is a holiday if you ask me. LOL

What time is kickoff??? What TV station is carrying this game??? I hope its a night game, since I will be deer hunting on saturday.

I wish I was making the trip to the Smoky Mountains.
I bet the scenery is awesome with all the fall colors.

Good luck and happy tailgating...

Welcome. Lincoln Financial has the game at 11:30 CST. More info here.

Made the rountrip Memphis-Knoxville this past weekend and the trees were pretty indeed.

Wish I could make the Ark. game but can't. Been to Fayetteville and Little Rock a couple of times to watch the Razorbacks/Vols and always had a good time.

You'd better shoot a deer in the morning hours the game is set to kickoff at 12:30 eastern 11:30 central

Welcome to the board. :hi:

I made the trip up to Fayetteville last year. Aside from the harsh treatment your team gave us on the field, I had a good time tailgating with some of your fans.

Well, maybe I can get down from the deer stand and watch the game for lunch. Hopefully, I can squeeze out an evening hunt after the game...

It looks like our basketball teams are going to be really good this season. Maybe there will be a TN/AR SEC championship game.

Just kill a hoss early and then watch football all day. That's what I'm going to do when rifle season opens up here

Im bow hunting on public land that doesnt allow gun hunting. So, Ive got my work cut out for me saturday.
the weather is going to be warm and muggy, so hopefully most guys will stay home. Ive got a waterhole/creekbed thats red-hot right now.

But I like your idea of getting one early and watching football all day. What are the other big SEC matchups this weekened???

Early start on this one. We didn't fair to well with our last early start hope we don't come out flat again.

Yeah, its hard for the home team's fans to get going that early in the morning. Especially if they started tailgating on friday night.

uhhm quick thing here. The last game was Arky's running game vs. SC's running game. not run vs. pass.

SC had 51 passing attempts. I think that qualifies as a passing vs running game.

Im interested to see how Tenn defense lines up against us. Our 3 losses were attributed to a 5 man defensive line from KY,Auburn, and Bammer. I would expect Tenn to do the same with 5 down linemen and 3 linebackers most of the game. We shall see.
