I wouldn't argue if you put Spurrier in there... The kind of SEC dominance he has is not easy to achieve. If Pete Carroll wins one more national title, I would certainly put him in top 10 also. So... My list would be...

Knute Rockne
JoePa
Bear Bryant
General Neyland
Lou Holtz
Earl Blaik
Pop Warner
Tom Osborne
Eddie Robinson
Vince Dooley

There are also coaches out there who I think could make the list...

Phil Fulmer, maybe with a good stretch of consistent dominance over the SEC. The record is there.

Steve Spurrier, if he brings South Carolina into SEC contention. What he did at Florida already puts him as being pretty eff'n good.

Bob Stoops, if he can finally live up to his billing and win some national championships in the next 10 years.

Mack Brown, if he continues his string of 10-win seasons.

Bobby Bowden... Yeah, he probably will make those sorts of lists soon.

I never understood why Vince Dooley was thought of as being a Top 10 coach.

Without Walker, he was quite average with some good seasons at best.
