Meanwhile, Ole Miss made it. A team Tennessee swept and was clearly superior to. Being the number 1 seed is more like a target than a reward in baseball. The stats back this up when you consider that only one team seeded number 1 has won it all since 1999.

And Texas AM . . . And Arkansas made it. The Vols were 49-0 this year when leading after 6 innings.
