Congrats on the new DC you picked up. I actually met Sal when I was 11 and living in Mobile. He was at the Senior Bowl and I went to a few of the practices and met the players. Me and my buddy spoke with him a few days and he was always a cool guy. I remember asking him who the Pitt player was that was run over by Herschel in the Sugar Bowl and he laughed and said it was him. He told me he had never been hit so hard in his life. I still remember that like yesterday and we actually gave him a Mobile shirt one day after practice. That was same year Jim McMahon was quarterback down there and was not very cool.
