Recruits at stake when Vols-Gamecocks face off Saturday night - ESPN

I like Beamer alot but I think after tonight he will regret this statement. I do not think the statement will be the one South Carolina wants to make about the direction of their program.

"I know the importance they put on their Georgia game and the talk on their end about how important is was for recruiting. We feel like it's important also. Not so much who wins and who loses, but that we are able to say hey, here is where South Carolina is headed," Beamer said. "We recruit against them a lot more than we do against, say Arkansas or a Vanderbilt, but it's important because it's Tennessee, but it's also important because of the battles that we go up against them in."

BTW this is MY new biggest game that Tennessee will play this year. I hope we decimate the yard hens, and send there players back to the "palmetto" state with tears, and broken egos ........ KILL THE YARD HENS!!!!:good!::realmad:

so he's hoping for a moral victory?

"but USC didn't offer all-american willis & didn't go after all-american miller very hard"

If anyone believes that crap, they are either very bad at evaluating talent or they were told not to bother by the players.

I have a great USC recruiting story myself: Go to South Carolina and smell the scent of gasoline the rest of your life.

O wait.
