During the lead-up to Saban's hiring I saw Cut's name routinely surface on message boards as candidate, but it was always shot down with the number one reason seeming to be that Cut has borne some part ofthe blame for Phil's alleged snitching on Bama for reuls violations.

the coaching graveyard is littered with "great guys" with "great families". I happy that he's a good person, but that does not change my stance that he's a supurb qb coach and a pedestrian OC.
