Also read on tigerdroppings a Vol fan posted that the hostess involved was from SC and went back home to SC to visit family and took a couple friends and they went to ballgame. just passing it along for what its worth?:whistling:

hopefully this will receive a wide readership... unfortunately, KNS (a.k.a. TMZ knox) is encouraging speculation

Thanks for posting this link. I think Travis is probably my favorite sports writer out there. I tend to forget about FanHouse sometimes because I get so caught up in VN.

Wow, that was actually a very good article. It's refreshing to see that there are still some critical thinking writers out there.

interesting....in a few days we will see a retraction from the nyt....one of thousands....on page 848....small print....and damage done...or not?.....They put up a sign that says...come to UT..Hot girls that really love football....im just sayin...:)

great quote from the article....this say's it all

"Lane Kiffin's reaped a whirlwind of positive value from his high recruiting profile, now the NCAA is enacting their revenge.

Even if that revenge, and the story behind it, isn't very legitimate."

That is a great article that breaks everything down... I don't know the NCAA rules backwards and forwards... great read! I freaking love Clay Travis.

Clay Travis wrote an excellent article that reveals the trickery used in the article to sexy up the story.

Actually, the sign was even less descript than that. It simply said "Come to Tennessee". The sign didn't mention a name or a University.

I glad i found this article to post. After last nite when story broke, all the doom and gloom that was surrounding VolNation and Vol fans everywhere . I figured we needed something to pick us back up.:pepper: Dont see any major violation , some are saying the whistle blower on this is south of us and gets dehydrated . The timing of this was to try and screw us in recruiting...:banghead2:

That sounds absolutely logical to me.

Clay is by far my favorite blogger on UT sports...and his book was a good read too.

Great article, everyone who is running around yelling about the sky falling should read it.

Oh, and the headline "NCAA Probes Tennessee Hostesses" made me giggle...

Clay insinuated it may have been the Ole Ball Coach who started this. Makes since because he is the one losing his prized in-state recruits in this deal and Lattimore is the one they quoted.
