we get a win we didn't deserve and bama losses to ul monroe ha ha!!!! what a crazy season this has been:blink::blink::blink:

if you think we deserved that win you watched a different game than I did if not for a roughing the kicker call we get beat I mean we played so bad we didn't deserve the win but I'll take it

A win is a win! I'd take winning ugly before losing after playing a good or great game. Vandy is a tough team. Ask SC. Or ask Georgia if they had a walk in the park with Vandy. The score at the end of the day said 25-24. Sounds like the Vols deserved to win to me!

and if Vandy didn't pick up so many 1st downs on penalties we don't get behind and win easier. We can play this game all night.

If we didn't miss an extra point, fail on a two point conversion and miss an easy field goal we would have won going away...

Come on, PJ. You know that we played like crap. We squeeked out a win against an inferior team and should have been fired up for this one.

My point: with the SECCG within reach and looking to avenge our first loss at home to the 'Dores in 20-something years, we should have been ready to go. We won it by a margin that was uncertain to even the fans in the missed FG endzone. How can we be satisfied with that?

because we still WON and a 1-pt win is the same as beating a team by 100.

A win is a win whether it's by one or 50! I didn't see the game but it sounded too close. The loss by Bama is pathetic! Beat teams in one of the best football conferences in the country and lose to U-L Monroe, man that is worth finding a place and hiding.

Don't care how we beat the Cat's. If it's a last second FG that's fine as long as it's a win. Some people think the Vols should beat the weaker teams by more. Probably so. I thought we should beat Vandy by 10. But it's a win!
Kentucky's offense has slowed down lately. I just hope the Vols can do to the Cat's the same thing we did to Arkansas.

I can't disagree that we looked terrible today. Offensive play-calling was suspect and our D made them look like a top-25 team. However, I will take a W and run with it. The O, D and ST showed up when we needed it (would have liked it much earlier) and we pulled it out.

Besides, the alternative to this victory is something I'd rather not even think about.

We definitely deserved the win. We outgained them by 50ish yards. If we had been outgained, I'd say, "Yeah, Vandy may have played better." But they didn't.

And if we don't get a PAT blocked, doink a FG and give up the ball before the half on screwy turnover and hand them 3 cheap points . . . .

Weird game. Not one to write home about but one that puts us one step closer to the goal. Next is UK.

They got ahead of theirselves when the score was 24 - 9 and we took advantage and shutdown their offense. We win.:dance2:
