Wow that’s shocking. They usually choose veterans for these types of positions. Congratulations to him, his peers respect him.

Admiral Schofield is on Atlanta's Summer League entry in Las Vegas and congratulations to Williams on the accolade.

Wow. That is shocking for someone so young and who hasn’t had a ton of time in the league.
It's not that shocking. He has a lot of time playing in legitimate NBA games. That he has garnered a MVP among players who have relatively little NBA time shouldn't be of surprise. It's a nice accomplishment, but shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that follows the NBA. Great reflection on UT and Barnes, no doubt. The disappointingly cold truth is that he isn't a NBA starter, for anyone. He is though, a model for maximizing potential. Top shelf role model, but an outlier. As a rep he has tons of credibility. He's qualified several times over to be VP

It helps to realize that VP is an executive committee chair rather than office. There is a First Vice President, a Secretary-Treasurer, then 6 VPs. Grant is one of the 6 VPs this coming term.
