Grant Hill Retires

I think most people would take Irving; he's a better offensive player and it's not even that close. Deng is a better defender, but I don't think he's good enough to make up the difference and will never be regarded as a superstar the way Kyrie will.

which is why I said right now. There's only so much we can gather on Kyrie's two injury shortened seasons so far.

And as an aside, I don't like considering either of them as serious contenders because they were both one and dones. Especially Irving, since he missed the overwhelming majority of his one season at Duke. Never even played an ACC game if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know, even right now I would say Irving is better. I think he'll be one of the stars for Team USA next year.

I see what you're saying, but if you ask me for the best Syracuse/Memphis players in the NBA, I'm still saying Melo and D-Rose.

Grant Hill was a great player prior to the injuries. Unfortunately we didn't even get to see him in his prime. His career as a superstar was over at 27.

Only one player from NBA Jam still in the league.

And there were none:

Jason Kidd of New York Knicks retiring after 19 NBA seasons - ESPN New York

He played for multiple teams including the Magic but I mainly remember him playing for the Pistons.
