I know virtually nothing about the online mode, but the story made for one of the greatest games of all time. I've heard my girlfriend's 12 year old playing online with his buddies and I'm not certain I can deal with that level of chaos at my age lol.Anybody still play? I downloaded GTA5 about a year ago and have been immersed ever since. It might be the perfect video game. I am huge into the Stunt Race series and the Open Wheel series.

How much can you do solo when online? I've got at least one friend that played it, but they played so much they finally got burnt out, so I don't really have anybody to jump into it with. The online mode is probably the best online multiplayer I have ever played. There is just so much to do. I still feel like I have barely scratched the surface and I am almost level 100.
That’s helpful, next weekend I’ll see if I can put some time into it.There is so much more to do online than in single player. There are missions, jobs, you can own businesses and smuggle weapons or drugs or cars, etc. There are probably 15 different race series. There are heists, deathmatch, co-op matches, other games to play... There is just so much. And like I said, I have barely scratched the surface after a year.
I've done everything solo. I have worked my way up now so that I own a corporation, I have bought a bunker, an office, a penthouse at the Casino, a couple of warehouses and garages and tons of cars, motorcycles and boats. I think right now I have about $6 million in GTA$ in my bank account. Most of it comes from winnings in the races and profits I make from smuggling guns and weapons technology lol.
Jump in. Rockstar was giving everyone $1 million in GTA$ each month until GTA5 comes out on PS5. I don't know if that is still going on or not. It is supposedly going to be a few years until GTA6 is out and they are releasing GTA5 for PS5/XBox X sometime this year and it is supposed to have tons of updated graphics, missions, vehicles, etc. They are also going to have an option where you can just download "GTA5: Online" as a standalone if you don't want the full game.Last GTA I played was 3. Too late to jump into 5? Or should I wait for the next game?
