Grading UT position groups with incoming freshman

I don't know who Caleb Calhoun is but it is hard to say TE = F grade and then in the next sentences say "When it comes to depth in 2022, both Princeton Fant and Jacob Warren are returning. As a result, no commitment would see the field anyway. More importantly, the Vols have some depth beyond those two to set themselves up at the position long-term. " Get a clue Caleb and next time don't shoot down your own premise.

Don't waste your time clicking through this article and giving this guy any more money from clicks.

The author presents his grades from worst to best grades, so don't go bonkers after his first two position summaries (both "F"s).

All in all, pretty fair article.

I don't like the fact that most of the high grades are on offense. Defense is where the Vols need the most help immediately. I can only dream what this team could do with a better than average or very good defense to go along with the offense right now. Maybe we can get some help later in the transfer portal during or after spring practices.

I'm wondering if our uptempo offense is going to kill defensive recruiting

Calhoun isn’t the most reliable reporter out there.

I think I’m understating that he isn’t reliable and overstating the reporter part. Just a click bait journalist.
Nothing journalistic about it.
Click bait writer may be a better description.
Even that may be an overstatement.

Man we are hurting at LB and DB. Flat out scared at DB after what we saw in the bowl game. And Theo Jackson played in that game.

We need a corner in the portal. At least we have bodies at LB

Fair article…..grades are based on ‘22 recruits by position…….

No TE or special teams signees = F……or I for incomplete

I actually agree with this except for an F for tight ends.

We're a good defense away from being a dominant force in the country. But we gotta recruit more quality LBs and DBs.
