Hey guys I finally got it last night. My girl got me NCAA football and basketball 09. I have a few questions though. Can I use any HDMI cable or does it have to be the XBOX/Microsoft HDMI cable? The tv that it is hooked up to only supports 720p so will I gain much with the HDMI over the supplied HD AV connections? I only got to play the football for a few mins and haven't even opened the basketball yet. I am going to try and get a router so that I can get it online and play with some of you guys in the future. Thanks for any info you can provide.

You can get a cheap router. also the quality for video games with component v HDMI is negligible.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to return the $75 HDMI cable I bought at HH Gregg and try and find a router.

monoprice.com for cables. Everyone that shops there (including me) swears by the site. It's great.

For a router, you can pretty much just buy whatever is on sale that week at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. All brands work well nowdays for most people's needs.

Harbor Freight on Broadway has HDMI cables for $7.00 right now. Gotta love cheap Chinese goods...

Mom gave us a few months of Netflix to try out. Guess we'll see how much the wife and I use it for tv shows, etc. while streaming. I also know of a few BluRay discs I wouldn't mind getting in the mail over the next couple months.
