WTF does the PS3 wireless controllers run off of????? Air????

Well, the stock xbox 360 controllers run off AA batteries. The PS3 controllers run off millions of tiny hamsters in wheels that produce electricity within the plastic case of the controller. It's an entirely self sufficient society.

nope just plug it in it charges in very little time, and then is good for a very long time. no batteries tho

I have a PS3 and I have a wireless controller with it, I can assure you that they have batteries in them. I get the same amount of time of use out of both kinds of controllers

No, actually sony will replace the internal battery for free.

I'm pretty sure he means no external battery pack or AA batteries.

Anywho, All some people are saying is that they like that the PS3 came stock with system chargable wireless controllers, where the xbox 360 does not come with system chargable controllers.

all i was saying is that i liked the fact that they were rechargable right out of the box. nothing to buy.

you can replace the battery yourself. there are instructions on how to do it in the ps3 service instructions.

They have since stopped doing this, I think starting last year. I could be wrong as well, I just remember Sony coming out and saying that they would no longer be doing them for free.

Ah, ok. A google search yields tons of results for "ps3 battery replacement," lol, so I did not read all of them. There were a lot of people saying they replaced it themselves pretty easily (around $10 for another battery). IDK, mine still work fine.:)
