I will gladly eat my crow today. VN, our Vols played a good game. I expected them to play like they have been. They didnt. Defense played good and got pressure. Offense looked better. I think we can all agree we see improvement. We are not close to where we want to be. But I do think there is some progress here. Be happy for today and enjoy the win. Go Big Orange.

The progress for me was the noticeable intensity and organization.
JG has proven tough enough and accurate enough to throw downfield when allowed to.
JP looked good coaching the team during breaks in the action and during possession changes.
I'll be pleased if they are competitive next week.

JG was excellent, WRs were outstanding, good solid pressure on Stidham all game long. Plus, we got the breaks, and thats important - if you play with fire and heart, the breaks will come.

Outstanding progress.....bodes very well for the future. Having my crow with some sippins

I don't blame anyone for having doubts.
Besides, all those we thought would stand up and give credit, are.
All those we knew would disappear or give backhanded compliments, well, they're doing what they do.

Just pasting from the other crow vs negavol thread..

I'm glad Tennessee won. They played well enough and had a good plan. There is no crow to eat. Tennessee hasn't shown any reason to believe in them before today.

You guys like to throw "this is the week we turn it around" threads around like candy. So you finally hit on one. Good for you.

I believed Auburn was a solid team and they would just punish Tennessee over the last half. That wasn't the case, and I'm glad there is finally signs of life.

I like being wrong about this. I'll gladly admit I was wrong.

Auburn is still a solid team in my eyes. Tennessee was better today. It's been a long time since a non-cupcake game could be talked about that way.

Bravo, Vols. Bravo, coaches.

I'm a big guy. One crow won't nearly be enough. Can I get some cornbread dressing with that bird? :)

I didnt get to watch, but followed on my phone. Looked like a well.coached game that got the ball in players hands in space....well done. Ill watch it monday when I get home.

It was. Like I have said, the team showed some progress. I think when you watch it, you will agree.
