No biggie, not everyone can be as perfect as me.:p

Heritage HS is on the left if you are going from Maryville to Townsend on 411 or 441 or 421, something like that, just can't remember which one.

Where did you go to HS tdtnvols2004?

I went to good ol Sullivan North in Kingsport.

Congrats man. I graduated from heritage as well. It was a blessing coming from seymour at the time. I got a good high school education and went on to UTK. Good luck with school and go with what you like. It is much easier to get into if you like it. I had some og the best times in undergrad. Good luck. And Heritage isnt that bad, you got the Y just up the road.

Dont be embarrassed, that too is my school. When I first went to college at UT, I was really intimidated by the Brentwood, Germantown, Farragut, and Signal Moutain kids who act like just because they went to weathy schools they are better or their high school education level is better. You are on a level playing field now. Where you came from means nothing.

I had a group project with 4 other students in a 400 level course my Sr year. Two of them were from Brentwood, one from Germantown, and the other was from inner city Memphis. The two from Brentwood and the one from Germantown had no clue what was going on with the project, didn't help at all, and after I told the professor at the end of the presentation that the Memphian and I did all the work, he promptly failed the 3, preventing them from passing the class, preventing at least 2 from graduation. Just shows, where you come from doesn't matter.

On a final note, find me a school with a prettier campus than Heritage. God's country

Success is, in general, what you make of it when given the appropriate opportunities. I agree with your basic points...background doesn't mean much (I do find that it occasionally means some, though...jus tnot much...:) ).....work hard enough (go to class, do the homework...no, seriously...do the homework, etc.) and you will do just fine.
