Seems like several recruits will.

Several fans too.

Glad the old guard got something nice before they die out and we bring it back.

You really don’t have to wait that long. Vandy wears gray and black all the time.

It was kind of fun and cool the very first time they wore them, after that, not so much.
Should have been a one time event.
Unfortunately, thanks to Butch, I will forever associate them to last year’s beat down in our house by Georgia. I rather burn them now.

I hated that it appeared vols were going to wear that crap in the biggest games vs the biggest rivals.

UT is Orange & White. Like the flag is Red, White, & Blue there’s some things you just don’t screw with/up.

For all of you traditionalists......Grey was part of UT's original color scheme.

Tennessee's first football jerseys were black and didn't wear the orange until 1927 I believe it was. Many years later In 1963 a new and thankfully short-lived concept was tried with orange jerseys that had black numbers and black shoulder stripes along with white helmets with an orange stripe and black numbers on the sides. I was only a year old then so I didn't see them but I've seen pictures and man those things were ugly.

The folks whom you call traditionalists are basing their opinion on what they remember and as far back as most who are alive today can recall, Tennessee has always been Orange & White.

With black cleats.
