Not sure why some folks always have to have someone to blame when their team loses. Vols made a good showing at the tourney and they will be back.

bgvol, LSU sure looked like the best team in the game I saw in person and again last night. They play with a lot of energy and confidence and they are solid on the mound. An LSU-Miss State final would be the best of both worlds with two solid teams playing in front of a large and loud crowd. Enjoy the weekend.

In '05 I stayed for the OM-State championship matchup and that was a pretty impressive environment but I imagine LSU-MSU would top that.

I believe he's only won one SEC tourney though in his 12-13 yrs which is even more pathetic than the 1 CWS. He's not made it out of regionals on multiple occasions.

So he's a t Mcgrady kind of manager.
Tracy Mcgrady nba playoff career for first round is horrid. Not sure I can recall him being a major player the way he was with the magic and his team making it past the first round.

I'm going to disagree and agree with Serrano. When the 3rd baseman is right beside you, you hedge more to the bag and not off the bag. A couple feet further off the bag does you no good when there was 0 outs. You are going to score on any deep ball or routine hit. Senzel was too aggressive and came too far off the bag IMO. You play it safe there with 0 outs. There was no reason to come off the bag that far in that situation.

Exactly when you have 0 outs in a one run game the last thing you want to do is make it easy to get a a major out.
Also play it the same way with one out as a sac fly if deep enough i. a one run game with a runner at third can score.
This wasn't bad luck as it was a unwise decision way to far off third with no outs with a disastrous worst case result.

I think he was to caught up in the major momentum topnotch hit resulting in a double, a balk which he resulted in to far off the bag and assuming understandably with all of it going their way a base hit was going to happen.

OK, I'm rethinking my comment.

But I'm only willing to give Senzel part of the blame.

I'll blame the third base coach a little, too. Shoulda reminded him how conservative he needed to be.

The rest is still flukey. (Is that a real word?)

I don't believe it's in a dictionary I could be wrong

So shared blame for this one.

Live and learn a lesson learned the hard way in this game.
