The point is, whether the guy reporting is a tool or not, this is not something we saw back in 2012.

It didn't take gruden long to put a statement out through his agent that he had no intention to take the job back in 2012.

So far from him or his agent, crickets, nothing. Now ask yourself why? Do you think he'd go along with something like this? This could possibly ruin his rep with Vols fans, and possibly bring undo stress on his son who is at UT.

While people should be smart enough to leave his kid out of it, you just know some frat boy on campus could possibly say something.

This whole thing just stinks of some kind power play by someone who was afraid of losing power.
