Good Read on the coaching search.

I know this is nothing new but I have a sickly feeling in my gut that it will wind up being Kelly. Doesn't he run the spread? Ugh.

I go to the University of Louisville and after the stunt he pulled on Friday, I could care less about him.

Kelly reincarnation of Fulmer. Not a wise choice. Football at UT will die on the vine.

Great point...because we sure have a lot going for us right now:good!:

You people who are so anti-Kelly drive me crazy. He's a great coach who has won at all levels. Sure, that doesn't take away all doubt, but NOBODY is a sure-thing. The success he has had with such minimal talent really impresses me. Who cares if it's the spread, or the spread option, or the crazy air-attack Texas Tech offense??? We has NO offense right now. Anything at all will be an improvement. Why not give this successful coach a chance at winning in Knoxville?

I'm hoping for Kelly over all others (except for Gruden).

Go Vols

I honestly think that if we cant get Gruden, that Kelly will work out just fine. He's a winner, period.

Give me Kelly any day of the week over Leach. There is just something about Leach that I just cannot get on board with. Stay in Lubbock Matey!

We get Kelly, Boyd is gone....Bottomline

I certainly don't hope we base our entire coaching decision on getting one recruit.

If we can't land the impossibles of Gruden or Cowher (which we won't) my top horse is still Leach.

With the spread offense (which I hate), how long will it take to get that system up and running...2-5 seasons? How paitent will VN be?

It doesn't matter who we get.

Regardless of who it is, anywhere from 1/3 to 3/4 of the board will moan and groan claiming the sky is falling and UT football is doomed.

...makes for good entertainment though
