the bad-

2 qb's that cant get it done
about 3 too many running backs
no PROVEN playmaker at reciever
offensive line with no depth
offensive line that cant get it done
very little depth on defensive line
lbs are not making plays at all
secondary could be a mess outside of berry and rogan
lincoln still cant get it done
very little explosiveness across the board, especially on offense

the good-
one of the best running back corps in the country counting incoming freshman
jones, moore, warren will make plays and be very productive
speed and explosiveness coming soon with nuke, teague, and green. rogers may be moved to safety
offensive line is making holes in the run game. the zone blocking is a good fit for our running scheme.\
stocker and cottam have shown enough for the coaches to move two highly rated tight ends to be moved to different positions.
walker, B.Martin and D.williams poised to have big seasons.
Montori Hughes appears to be the real deal
vinson and rogan are both all sec caliber corners.
mccoy should be the man. dont see why they dont switch him to mlb. would be his best fit in this system.
askew is a perfect fit for this defense and will contribute soon.
eric berry- nuff said

talent on every level of the defense will be coming in this year also. couple of playmakers in the secondary. jackson or myles will see significant time this year.

most of our major problems have been fixed or are in progress. Somehow kiffin has got to get something out of crompton or stephens. Get that fixed and we could sneak up into the top 15 -20 by years end. GO VOLS

7-5 at worst
8-4 at best

We will win the games we're supposed to win. I personally do not think that we will upset anyone this year with our QB situation and our lack of depth on the O and D lines. You can pencil in losses to Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and a possilbe loss to either Auburn or South Carolina. I'm also deeply concerned over our kicking game. I fear that one or two of our losses will be as a result of this.

For me, I'm not even going to be looking so much at wins and losses this year as I am in us being competitive and a real change of attitude on the field. If our guys fight to the bitter end, no matter what the score is, I'll be happy because it will show me that the culture of our program has truly been changed.

Hmm - so our receivers aren't proven yet Warren/Jones/Moore will, without a doubt make plays and be productive.

Our offensive line has no depth and cannot get it done yet they are making holes in the run game.

Secondary could be a mess outside of Berry and Rogan - yet we have two SEC caliber corners (Vinson and Rogan) and Eric Berry (enough said) plus a couple a playmakers coming in as freshmen in the secondary.

And no explosiveness yet we have explosiveness at the same time coming in.

Saweeeeet.

I think he meant, "This is what COULD be bad, and this is what COULD be good."

Basically saying either the bad or the good could happen.

Crompton himself could potentially be the good and the bad.

He could have us at 9-3, or 7-5 with as much that falls on his shoulders.

Where is that Billy Madison quote when you need it?

Right here:

Mr. CICEROMESSIAH, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I agree. If we are not going to win at least let us be entertained by a team that is actually fun to watch ala the TN teams in the 1980's

No playmaker at receiver but Jones, Moore, and Warren will make big plays. Maybe the critique is why I don't start many threads.

Janzen Jackson / Darius Myles will probably have something to say about this.............
