I may be going off the wall here but I think Dabo would be a good fit, he put Clemson on the map, he has them in the running year after year, yes I know he is having a down year but look at what he has done, my thought is it would be a good hire, he runs a good clean program an has a wide base of players in different states, just my thoughts, I know everyone will not agree but think about it

Dabo fought change and lost. Not a very good coach for this NIL era.

Dabo if he decides to leave Clemson, he will not be fired, will have a lot of years left of coaching. Whatever school wants to hire him will have to get him on board on fully embracing the portal and NIL.

so hire the coach that lost to the current coach? and not by a little, but by a lot. and back when Dabo and Clemson were still considered a good team. and we were trying to establish ourselves.

the grass isn't always greener. and I say that as someone who is questioning Heupel for the first time. stay away from Dabo.

We don't have an opening for head coach. Maybe as analyst.

Clemson fans are like UK fans with Stoops in that a coach brought them the best of times but is now in a complete funk that appears hopeless to turn the program around. Maybe they should just trade coaches. Dabo for Stoops and with UK adding about $10 million to avoid the Stoops complete buyout number. Really you wonder if either coach will get another opportunity or seriously want one after getting the big pay check to leave? Dabo is most likely to hang around Clemson-Greenville area and be a greeter at local events.

Hell to the naw. Dabo is nothing without Venables and Elliot. Clemson is not a clean program. Plus Dabo's personality grates on me.

And we have a coach. Just need some defensive staff adjustments.
He was actually very good before those guys. He needs elite coordinators and has done a good job in the past finding them. That said, I think he’s past his prime and don’t really want him.

Dabo isn’t just having a ‘down year’. They looked vulnerable back in 2022 and haven’t looked the same since we beat them in the Orange Bowl. They’ll never be the same again. He doesn’t embrace the portal or NIL. He was lucky he kept his coordinators for as long as he did. His time has passed.
