we got quite the DB collection last year in Myles, Janzen, Gordon, Edwards, and possibly Teague (but I hope he finds a home at WR)

The Secondary next season could surprise some people. Yes, to start the offseason it was believed to be our strong point, however with the loss of Morely, Dennis Rogan's academic status in question and Brent Vison's health all happening since then, it has become more of a question mark. I am interested to see if Myles can take the other open safety position to play and learn from the best defensive player (Berry) and mind (grandpa Kiffin) in the nation. He seems to have to right figure and attitude to be successful and to adapt quickly into being a great college player. Also, Janzen Jackson is another threat to steal some early playing time at corner alongside Vinson in the fall. If these two can learn the system and display a "want to" attitude that this coaching staff and anyone who appreciates the game of football enjoy, look for the vols secondary to be even better than it was a year ago...

Boy, this kid can really dish the hits!!!

Hits like that strike fear into the hearts of WR's and cause turnovers.

I remember when Rogan had to take the field early in his true freshman season and found himself in position to tackle Tebow straight on ... that was asking a lot. Now, I don't want to jinx 'em, but I kinda think Myles and Jackson could do it.

At 6'3, I wouldn't mind seeing him at WR, especially if he's not a starter. We could use a good possession receiver this year.

No not as fast as EB, but he is bigger/taller. Sometimes those taller guys take a while to get going. I remember James Banks ran about a 4.6, but when he got going he could fly.

Was there a kid who was undecided before NSD, had a dream that night he had a pick 6 wearing orange and committed to Vols the next day?

I swear I heard that somewhere, or maybe dreamed it. Anyone?
