Tune into schoolsportsradio.com- I do all the play-by-play games for JPII. You will also see some video streaming of Golden Tate on this website during the season. He is a special player, he has no control over the strenght of the schools schedule. I hope we get him on the hill however, I not betting on it. I cannot speak or address the issue with him due to being a registered agent for the University of Tennessee. If you are a donor listed on the VASF membership, please by all means do not talk to prospects, it can come back on the University and get us in trouble with the NCAA. It is insane that we as fans cannot talk to prospects and try to sway them our way but, THAT'S THE RULES!

Marvin Austin? When I look at the other schools that have offered him my brain says no way but if he holds off on his commitment and we can win a few big games this year who knows?

Thanks for the reminder. I know we have a lot of posters who are planning to do some amatuer scouting once HS seaons gets under way.

I have a similar feeling. I think he really likes UT, but wants to see that we have turned it around before considering any kind of commitment. If we win this season I think we will be among the list he takes with him to announcement day. However, I think it is going to be very hard to beat FSU or Miami. I think he loves the 'idea' of playing in Florida. Weather, big city, etc.
