Going tailgating for first time next week

My wife and I are considering going tailgating next week. Where is the best place to go for our first time tailgating.

If you get there early enough, I've seen tents set up in reefer park (behind Taco bell on the Strip) and in the park behind Wendy's .. both on Lake Ave....

also a lot of tents and tailgating over at Fiji Island on frat row ...

I don't know when you'd have to get there to get a parking spot ... prolly at least 9am for a 3pm start ....

there are also places to tailgate on the other side of cumberland up and down white ave ... it'll cost you $30-40 to park in some of the lots on that side of the street ...

I usually park at a DR office off of Cumberland going away from campus. Turn right at the next road past mellow mushroom. Its only 10 bucks to park and usually quite a bit of tailgating going on.
