Did you goto the game?? Football is a game of field position.....our kick coverage was great, they had poor field position all day.....and oh yeah, didn't we block a punt that lead to a score?? I know so!! AND Tackling on our coverage teams were superb.....now ya know hman

The blocked punt was kind of negated by the 30 yards of penalty we put onto it. I agree we looked better but.....but....but I still saw DB's going for that big time hit when the ball was caught over the middle.

Also, just being realistic here. I didn't think we got THAT much heat on Stafford. The sacks that we did have were coverage sacks, but I mean bottom line sacks.

I'll swallow my pride and give you your props. Good calls, good calls.

Seriously, he did make a great call. Special teams were a huge part of this win. Pay the man his respects instead of blindly trying to poke holes.

The blocked punt had 30 yards of penalties added it to it. It was similar to fair catching a mediocre punt.

While the good tackling and special teams was nice to see. Our running the ball and getting out to a lead that took UGA out of their gameplan, won us the game.

dont lose sight of the fact that UGA is a mediocre football team right now. We did stop their running game and Im am so proud of that. The bulldawgs are not an elite SEC team on the level of LSU or UF. Still, all in all, it was a great win over a hated rival by a team that was desperate.

special teams did what they were supposed to do, nothing more, nothing less. The running game and running D won this football game.

I agree with you.....but as I said, field position is key....and our special teams never put our D in a bad position or give up a big play......it's all good!! I mentioned tackling and I think that would be apart of our run D!! Just glad to see Tennessee play Tennessee Football no matter what!! GO VOLS!!

It was shocking how much better our kick coverage looked. We were able to constantly make them play on a long field.

Absolutely!!! The improvement was monumental. I just have a hard time crediting special teams with being the reason Tennessee won this game.

It definitely wasn't the sole reason, but field position had been absolutely killing us in big games until yesterday. As crazy as it sounds, I think just seeing the opening kickoff sail into the endzone was a big lift.
