Since we were embarrassed by Vanderbilt. No comments of any sort or news from CBJ since his very brief post game.

Is he on the recruiting trail? Or is he shopping for coaches or another job?

Where are the plane tracker guys from the Gruden days? Butch might be hanging around Houston or Purdue to "recruit."

Maybe he's standing in line at BestBuy for the daily doorbusters?

The best we can hope for is that he understands that nobody wants to hear the coach speak and he is concentrating on getting better at his job.

I believe he was not expecting the defeat at Vandy nor was he expecting the ridicule his Champions of Life promotion has brought his way. At his level it sticks when your peers are laughing AT you.

Why can't he grow a set of balls and come out and tell us that was embarrassing and unacceptable, changes will be made etc.

I think he has been told to lay low for now. Everyone knows this is a powder keg that is one more Lyle Jones Cliché from going off.

Really? You want a mea culpa? Nuts to that. What in the world would he say because he is dang sure not going off script.

Is there really anything he needs to say? Seems like everything that needs to be said was said on the field against Vanderbilt Saturday night.

Pretty much.

He can't talk his way around it. And when he has tried in the past it hasn't gone very well. Silence is actually a good move on his part.

He's probably working and not reading VolNation

That's his problem right there. If he read Volnation regularly he would know what to do in every situation, who to recruit and how to talk at press conferences. Someone get him on that.

I saw him earlier this morning. He was curled up in a fetal position with cold sweats, in a van under a bridge down by the Salvation Army.

Why would any high school recruits want to come play for these coaches ? He's lucky if he'll retain any of the early commitments . In fact 2 have already decommitted including the tight end from Mississippi who had a monster year .
