After watching the second half yesterday I would imagine SEC defensive coordinators are on high alert.

How do you game plan to stop this offense.

Blitz and Hurd Kamara or Dobbs are gone before your guys get there.

Shut down the run as Florida tried to do and the receivers kill you through the air.

I know I wouldn't want to game plan for this offense if we play lights out like yesterday's second half I don't know that we are stoppable.

Same with the defense. We won't shut you down in the first half, BUT after Shoop makes his adjustments it is sick..

problem is we can't do this consistently yet. if we can play like we did in the 2nd half we can beat anyone. but we must play this way the whole game next week or georgia will beat us!

I agree it was just one half but I am hoping that it was the long needed wake up call that was needed.

I just cant see how you stop this offense when firing on all cylinders.

Dobbs has hit more long balls this year than in his previous 3.

Hurd is going to do his thing regardless.

For the first time under Jones, they attacked the defense all over the field in the second half. It wasn't about firing on all cylinders or getting lucky. Going forward, Butch needs to remember Maxim #7 and quit playing so conservatively. It was a completely different plan the second half, and Butch and DeBord need to keep that plan for the entire game the rest of the year.

Additionally, Shoop needs to be better prepared for the first half so we don't dig such holes. Love his ability to adjust, but at some point our D will fall into too big of a hole with our current strategy

Personally, I think the execution and the "conservative" calls go hand in hand. I don't think the mentality changed at all. Debord was in the mood to throw the ball around from the drop of the hat. But, they weren't executing.

The one "conservative" tenet that CBJ and company do stick to is field position. When they get behind the sticks, off schedule, or whatever you want to call it, they are pretty careful to manage field position, which can be pretty frustrating to watch at times. They do NOT like to give the opponent a short field.

Everyone says Shoop makes good adjustments...I think, or thought, that way too until I heard the post game interviews last night. To the player, they all said that Shoop did not make any adjustments at the half. They said he just told the players to increase their intensity and to go play football. Could be player speak. I don't know. I just found it very interesting.

Georgia got blown out by Ole Miss and struggles with Mizzou and Nicholls. Tennessee can take the first quarter off next week and still beat Georgia by 20. Florida is a MUCH better team that Georgia.

We saw blitz packages in the second half that I haven't seen all year. And we came more from the outside. Definitely just speak. Lyle has taught them well
