Godfather 2

Anyone playing?

So far I liken it to being a cheap version of a GTA franchise but I have only played for about 5 hours so far.

played the first one last summer and thought it was overrated. i might play the second one eventually, but i'm in no real hurry.

Dont waste your time with it, as bad as the first one was, the second one is even worse.

I actually liked the first one a lot. I'm going to trade in Civ Rev and MLB 2K9, but not sure if I should get G2, Legends of Wrestlemania or wait for Fight Night round 4.

LOW will die out fast. At first it was a blast to play, but without a good career mode, the game becomes boring fast

That's what I was thinking. It will likely be one those games you can get for cheap in the next year.

Tried playing Godfather 2. After a couple hours, I just wasn't getting all that into it. Didn't seem all that bad, but I wasn't feeling it.

I just finished it. It's a lot like GTA in that it's very addicting while you play it, but you know it isn't all that replayable. The story is good, and taking over the 3 cities is pretty fun. Overall I enjoyed it. But it's a rent, not buy.

I agree with Dickens. I think it might be considered a better game if it didn't use the Godfather title... it doesn't deserve or really need it.
