I like how they have gone back before in the story. Will probably get after a month, really like the GOW series

I'll get it eventually but honestly the series has grown stale to me. I've played the previous 5 games, and I kind of got tired of Kratos' whining by the last game. Not to mention he pretty much killed every Greek mythology character.

And I thought they already did the prequel thing with the PSP titles.

not to mention the last one was brutal on normal settings. rental for me at best.

Those saying it was too hard probably died twice then got mad and quit. Just takes some practice. I'm stokes for this I'm picking it up tonight

i didn't say it was too hard, but on normal level, you should not have to try a single fight 1/4 of the way into the game 10-15 times before you get it. that's all i am saying. i played all the other games on god difficulty. the last one, not a chance...

This game is amazing so far. It takes place before all the other god of wars that have come out, the graphics are INCREDIBLE and the game play is great. The quick time events are brutal as ever, and the blood is present in large quantities. It's not as hard yet as god of war 3, but it's amazing. I have yet to jump into Online play yet but ill give my thoughts on it once I try it out

Might have to try this a few months from now. Played the demo and wasnt blown away by it, but I guess its just very similar to the earlier relaseases.

That was just the online I'm assuming. This is god of wars first online game so I'm not sure what to expect. I bought it for the story and so far it's been great.

Personally I think QTEs are some of the worst things to happen to video games in the modern era. I can't stand them.

I just can't fathom why they reduce awesome games with advanced gameplay down to a game of Simon Says.

I would rather have ten hours of awesomeness as opposed to a half assed multiplayer and a shortened campaign. Game is good, but not as good as 2 or 3.

I am dissapointed they didn't add more enemies like new enemies and most of what I call brutality techniques like that quick times that follow up with a gruesome kill, most are the same or similar to the last god of wars moves. Multiplayer isn't good? Still haven't tried it

the game looks amazing, but overall its more of the same. it's def worth a rental. glad i didn't drop $65 on it. i haven't tried the multiplayer, but i cannot imagine it would raise the replay value to the price of the game. gonna try it out once i finish the story.

i was going to take a look at the multiplayer and quickly found out that GOW has gone to what so many are going to these days...an online pass. if multiplayer is important to you for this one, better go the buying route vs rental.
