I cant freakin wait. I reserved a copy today and i get my game on Monday. One day early.


I also got a playable demo. It is awesome. Greatest game out right now.

This one is gonna be 2 disc also. :rock:

I have a copy reserved, but since my kid's PS2 is located at his mom's house, I may not end up buying my copy.

god of war has been something i always wanted to play but never got around to. whats the first one like cbc?

GOW1 got my Holy Sh!t award. That's a game where multiple times in it your eyes get huge and you yell HOLY SH!T in sheer shock and amazement at what you're witnessing.

If you are into gaming, I can't imagine spending a better $20 at Target for it. Maybe even rent it. I don't remember how long it took to beat.

if it takes fairly long to beat, which ive always had the impression it does, i'll probably just buy it. i usually only rent games that are short and sweet.

CBC isn't kidding. GOW is definitley an all-timer of a platformer. I remember first time I played it, it could only be described as sheer gaming joy. The kind of feeling where your heart feels like it's going to jump into your throat, and you have a dead man's grip on the controller. The same feeling I got first time I played Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Gran Turismo, SSX, GTA3.

It does actually take awhile to beat. On Easy mode it is still real hard.

If you can beat it on God mode then you need to get laid. :)

Extremely good game. Worth every cent of 20 bucks. I would have paid $100 for it.


The second one will be better i think. More features.

The guys who make this game are very talented. I hope they can do other type games also

David Jaffe was the man who thought up Twisted Metal, TM 2, and TM Black. His next project is 'Calling All Cars' coming to the PS3 in the next month or two, I think.

OK....so i have played part 2 a couple days now and all i can say is holy s***!!!!!

Starts off a little after the first one ends. Kratos is destroying everything with his Spartan army and the gods get pissed and take his powers.

This game is amazing visually. The cuts scenes are bad ass. Sound is great, controls are perfect, and Kratos is the perfect killing machine.

Get the first one, play it all the way through, then pick this one up. Superb, A+++++++++++

Just beat it. Freaking hard,even on an easy level.

Part 3 will happen. Trust me on that. Just not sure if it will be on PS3 or stay on 2.
