Thanks for being a great coach, a mentor of many, an ambassador for the state and the university and an example of how a man of faith carries himself as he walks through life.

If you werent watching the game you could tell we were winning by that post:rolleyes:

At least he salvaged our status of remaining one of the 2 D1 teams who have never lost 8 games in a season.

Thanks for the memories Coach Fulmer.

A true volunteer from birth. I hope he remains close to the program and all the best wishes to him and his family.

On a sidenote, I'm in the process of moving and just found my cottom bowl ticket stubs against a&m. What a glorious day that was. Also found my 2001 cottom bowl tickets against ksu. Ouch.

Thanks for the memories, coach. Good and bad. 08 is almost over thank goodness.

WE are thankful for you, Coach Fulmer. Thank God that you have been our coach. We will miss you greatly in the years ahead. Please stay in the Vol organization. You are a Vol and bleed orange. Don't go anywhere else to coach.

This is no time for negativity. Only optimism for the future from me. Thank you for all you have done at the University of Tennessee, Coach Fulmer! Even though it was time to move on, I wish you the best. And 24 straight games! Here's to continuing the streak and putting Cobb in his place.

I wish Kiffin all the luck in the world.

I think in the wins and losses column this move had to be made.

But part of me thinks from a right thing to do stand point, this is a sad day in UT Athletics.

Coach Fulmer set a standard that is rarely seen in College Football these days.

100% a Vol
0% Looking for an NFL Shot
0% Putting Wins over Integrity

100% CPF

As it should be...he goes out on a winning note to the love and admiration oh his players and fans. Whether you like him or not, he always carried himself with poise and class and was a great representative for the university and our state. Good luck and God bless!!

It was hard NOT to shed a few tears.
