Glimmer of hope for QB?

UGA and UK both got really good jumps a lot of times. He's definitely doing something everyone has film on now.

Was doing it last year and the year before. Went to games and watched on TV with my buddies and showed it to them then. On run plays, it isn't as big as issue since our guys are driving forward. However, when they start trying to back pedal into the pocket, they are screwed. JG just telegraph's everything he does, where he's gonna throw, the snap, when he's gonna run in the rpo.

With JGs limitations, they tend to lay their ears back and go for it. Also, he's so easy to time after a couple of series. His snap count is so obvious and telling, they have a 2 step jump. Not saying they can't be better, but, a QB will help. Not a clipboard holder.

Yes, something has tipped others off. To that I'd add GA DL liane shift just before the snap. Something came through the tape.....one JG has a tell evidently.

I would start HB. 1. He is a gunslinger. Bama's D has given up 300 yards per game thru the air this year, and they have little film on HB, 2. Pruitt has little to lose. What if HB falls apart? Fans will give CJP a break--after all, he's starting a frosh QB, 3. If HB comes out and sets the world on fire, there you go, our season is turned around, 4. JG actually was decent coming off the bench last year. If HB implodes, you can set him down, tell him we'll try again in two weeks, and give JG a shot to work magic. JMHO.

Guarantano will start this week vs Alabama and play until he makes his 2nd turnover. Hopefully this will be his last start as a Tennessee Volunteer. Time for the Vols to find out if Bailey is gonna be the answer going forward. Hopefully, Bailey will be pushed in the next couple of years by Salter who is an athletic QB
