I remember a few people on this board that were completely against Coach Cut and also were ready to jump off of the UT Fan ship if he came aboard. So where are you guys now?? Must be playing with your Randy Sanders action figures...you know the one's that clap and say "Yes Phil" and "3rd and 10 huh, guess we better run it up the middle". I am very impressed with what I see from our team. Our offense looks great and our receivers have HANDS!! Thanks Coach Cut and Trooper Taylor for the wonderful job and disiplining of our players. And as far as Randy Sanders goes....STAY THE HECK IN KENTUCKY....
The game Saturday will not be won for Tennessee off of turnovers, points, yards, or any stat that you can see on paper. It will be won by the size of our D's Heart, the Big Game State-of-Mind of Ainge, and the 12th man the GREATEST FANS IN THE WORLD inside Neyland Stadium. I personally believe that the close game against Air Force was a good thing. It showed our players that the 1 victory they had to date didn't mean anything, because a team who was 4-7 last year came to Neyland and about kicked their tails. Paper can only show us so much.....but the heart and soul of the players, coaches, and fans is what leads us to victory ladies and gentlemen. I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that we will WIN the game on Saturday. Here's my score prediction and its a bold one....
Florida gets on the board 1st with a field goal....3-0
Tennessee answers back with a 19 yard Montario Hardesty Touchdown run....7-3
Florida scores another field goal....7-6
Tennessee scores a field goal after a BAD call goes against us deep in Florida Territory.....10-6
Tennessee scores another touchdown on a pass from Ainge to Rogers after Florida turns it over on a Leak Fumble.....17-6
Tennessee scores yet again off an end around to Robert Meachem for a 37 yard TD run.....24-6
Florida scores a TD on a 24 yard pass from Chris Leak....24-13
Tennessee scores the last points of the game on a FG from Wilhoit with 1:34 left in the 4th quarter.....27-13 is the Final Score..
