That stat just floored me.......the most since 1893 (250 points in a 4 game stretch).......we only gave up 144 points in the 1993 season.....when I read that I was alarmed!! I wonder how many points have been given up by turnovers and special teams??

We are last in SEC in points given up (puke)

O-well, maybe in the next 2 weeks we can find some run stuffers, our linebackers will come to life and our young secondary is learning......let's hope Georgia doesn't run off left tackle!!

Do you still think this D is very good?

I said "our defense is not where it needs to be"....I will be honest, I didn't think they were bad enough to be last in SEC.....when I sat there Saturday night......I saw more players flying to the ball then the previous games, I saw their running back get stuffed in the middle only to break a tackle and get to the outside 4 times.....I saw 2 long runs off tackle.....Mustang

When I saw them play Tennessee football they were in blitz schemes.....2 plays that stood out was Javier Mitchell blew up a screen pass on our own 40......and the other was a QB sack by Johnson......

I don't understand why we stay in a mini-prevent defense when we blitz there is positve results!!

Mistackles.......we either try to arm tackle or knock sombody's head off.....that bothers me

That stat just shows that the offense is not living up to the 8 TD/game standard that defense and special teams have set for them.

To say that our defense is not where it needs to be is the understatement of the year. They flatout suck. No excuse for alowing 20+ points to Arky St.

We have only been outscored in 6 of 16 quarters this season. And removing the ST/Offensive blunders that resulted in scores this goes down even more.

While I respect and welcome your optimism, our defense sucks as a complete unit. Can they get better? I surely hope so, but as it stands, the stats don't lie. They are sub-par.
