Given the current state of the program I’m not sure whether “he deserves it” means you love or hate Gillespie.

At this point give the job to Dizzy Gillespie. At least we could hear some tunes during a press conference.

Good grief...you don't hire a guy as a HC simply because he's a good RB coach. Come on...stop the insanity!

People are debating whether Tee Martin is qualified to take over something like this. And he is a coordinator. Now you say give the reigns to a position coach. Dangerous.

right now...just hire Norvell and get this dang thing over with so we can move on...consider the pooch screwed...:)

PS. about the only saving grace for Currie...:thud:

which is obvious when you (in general) say somebody "deserves it", but not based on resume

If we are talking assistants my top pick is Chaney (and make sure he brings Pittman).
Additional benefit this would have is damage UGA.

Please don’t suggest stupid things. The people in charge might actually listen. Plenty of good coaches out there still and several VFLs who would take the job if not.
